Sri Rama Navami

Ram Navami is one of the famous festivals that celebrate the birth of Lord Rama. Rama is an avatar of Lord Vishnu those who come down to earth to battle the unbeatable Ravana in human being form. Apart from that it is one of the Hindu festivals and celebrates in a different place of the world. The festival is a public holiday in Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh and many more places.

However, the festival is the celebration of the 9th day of Chaitra month and it marks the culmination of the spring. Rama was the 7th incarnation of Vishnu those who was the hero of the Ramayana. In that day, the houses are cleaned perfectly and family may be decorated with decorative items. Moreover, houses look like a traditional and more beautiful in that day. Offering if fruit and flowers are places on the prayers and shrines are recited after an early bath.

To mark this day some kind of people are wanting kind of foods such as wheat products, garlic, and onions.

Ram Navami Festival celebration:

A great festival celebrates with excellent devotion across the nation. Apart from that, the festival also celebrates in every region has its own regional significance behind the celebration. In this day, Ayodhya is the main focus of the celebrations. Moreover, the huge fair is organized for 2 days, Ratha-yatra of Rama and his wife Sita, his devotee Hanuman and brother Lakshmana are taken out from many temples.

.The public worship starts with the morning chanting Vedic mantras dedicated to Vishnu, offering flowers and fruits to god and ablutions. All folks keep a quick throughout the day, breaking it only at midnight with fruit. In the world, there are many Lord Rama temples available. In that day, most of the people are visiting the temple with their family, friends and other relatives.  During the festival of Ram Navami people could get a religious feel and excitement.

The youngest women member of the household leads some special puja by applying red Tilak to other members of the family. However, whole family member chants Rama Charita Manas Shaloka along with the special word of Jai Shree Rama. In this day some people can allow eating certain foods such as milk, coffee, Yogurt, water and tea are also permitted along with vegetables and fruits. Therefore, enjoy the festival and feel the religious own and you make prayer get bless from Lord Rama.
